Heal the Witch Wound by Celeste LarsenUpon reading the first section of this book, I found it to be quite a challenge. The author goes into great detail about the origins of the Salem witch trials, which I don't recall having learned about before. It was fascinating to learn about how the trials began, where they took place, and the consequences that followed. It was difficult for me to digest, especially when I was learning about where the trials originated from. It got me thinking about my ancestry, and I couldn't help but wonder where my family stood in history. The author provides intricate details on the people involved in the trials, their beliefs, and the social and political climate of that time. I was able to picture the events as they unfolded, and it gave me a better understanding of the trials. In the second part of this book, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of my own personal "witch wounds." Before reading this book, I was completely unaware of the existence of witch wounds, and I never would have thought to link certain experiences or feelings to this concept. However, as I read through the author's explanations and examples, I began to realize that many of the challenges I've faced in my life could be attributed to these wounds. Some of the witch wounds that I identified in myself include feelings of self-doubt, a reluctance to express myself fully, and a tendency to put others' needs before my own. What was particularly powerful about this section of the book was how the author explained that these wounds are not unique to me, but in fact, they are shared by many people who have experienced trauma or persecution related to their spiritual beliefs or practices. In the third part of the book, the author provides practical advice on how to begin healing these wounds. One of the techniques that resonated with me was the idea of using a salt scrub with intention. This is a simple and accessible practice that can help to clear negative energy and promote healing in the body. I also found the author's suggestions for grounding and setting boundaries to be helpful and inspiring. Overall, this book has been a precious resource for me. Not only has it helped me to better understand the history and impact of the Salem witch trials, but it has also given me a new framework for understanding my own struggles and a set of tools for self-healing. I'm grateful to have this book as a reference as I continue my healing journey. General Rating: 5/5 Value Rating: 5/5

It's truly inspiring to be able to embark on a journey of connecting with my ancestors and working to heal my lineage. The book has provided valuable insights into the layers of lineage and the impact of our ancestors on our lives today. It's amazing to think that the work I am doing will create healthy and bright ancestors and can have a positive impact on everybody in my family lineage, including those not yet born. The rituals and meditations provided in the book offer a great starting point for this important work. I can't wait to share my progress as I work through them and continue to leave a legacy for my descendants. The Power of Numbers by Jessica Allen really helped me gain insight into numbers. I have always been one to have numbers jump out at me and I will look up angel numbers all the time. This book has all of that in within the pages. She writes about core numbers, double digits, and angel numbers. She helps you to figure out your life path number, personality number, destiny number, and hearts desire number. As if that was not enough, she also writes about your personal year number, personal month number, and your home number. I learned that the house I sold was a number 4 and the apartment I moved to is also a number 4! How crazy is that? This just shows how much a thrive in stability. If you live near a Five Below, I highly suggest stopping to see if they have this book. General Rating: 4/5 Value Rating: 4/5 If you are interested in mediumship and want a better understanding of physical mediumship, this book is for you. Spirit Energy by Rev. Joanna Bartlett is short but mighty. I read this book while reading Practical Mediumship. (Because as many of you might know, I tend to read several books at a time). Any who, Rev. Joanna did a great job discussing types of physical mediumship as well as how to get started. This includes table tipping, trumpet voices, trance channeling plus so much more. She gave a lot of great tips about how to get started! Being an 80’s/90’s kid, I really enjoyed her explanation of Ectoplasm (Ghostbusters, anyone?) After finishing this book, I rewatched the movie Ghostbusters. I did find some relatable info in the movie, but I think I prefer the TV show. General Rating: 5/5 Value Rating: 5/5
hooked within the first few pages, just like me!
As I started the book, I knew it was going to change how I viewed my life and my health. The author’s premise of this book is that “biography creates biology”, meaning that our response to the things that happen to us throughout our life could affect our health. The seven stages are based around the Hindu chakras, the Christian sacraments, and the Kabbalah’s Tree of Life. At the end of each stage, she asks thought provoking questions for self-examination. At the end of the book, she includes a daily meditation for each stage. These meditations are supposed to help you evaluate your health. mythology, and modalities. After completing the questionnaire, I learned I was both the moon and the earth. One of the best things I discovered in this book was the concept of an individual being in retrograde. That when you are feeling out of sorts and reacting differently, then you are in retrograde. The accuracy of this book is crazy!

after I read his book. I would highly recommend reading this book and attending his workshop if you are working on your mediumship skills.

name but who they were and what they did. Patti included other types of ancestors such as family, heart, and spiritual ancestors. She also mentions honoring the Forgotten Dead. Patti included rituals and meditations for your ancestors, divination on contacting/working with your ancestors, and creating your ancestor alter (my favorite part). She does touch on connecting with your Archetypal badasses, since I am currently reading another book about our Archetypes; I will go into this further later. This book is small but mighty, I learned A LOT from Patti. I did try one of Patti’s rituals, it took about 3 months to see some results and 18 months to come to full fruition. My suggestion to you is if you are going to partake in a ritual and you write a letter to your ancestors to be burned. Don’t do this on banana paper and attempt to burn this in your bedroom. No worries disaster was halted quickly.

harmful patterns to be passed on through my descendants. Even though my children are grown, I felt it was not too late to start healing. After I finished the book, I really dug deep into healing my ancestral family patterns using the suggestions in this book. While Steven provides several activities in this book, I was excited about two major activities. One was working on forgiving myself and others and the second was intergenerational healing. For my first activity I decided to go hiking while working through the activity, I won’t go into the nitty gritty of that adventure, but I will provide this advice. Not everyone that I wanted to work with was passed on and I did not want to go to them directly. So, I called upon their higher selves to speak with my higher self. I was able to have the conversations that I needed to have while still maintaining my comfort. After I completed this task, I felt lighter, and I knew I was headed in the right direction. The last activity of the book is the most important, it is the reason why I read this book. Basically, Steven walks you through the steps of calling your ancestors to the room and healing those patterns. Naturally, I modified it slightly by including an ancestor crystal grid and provided Reiki for each of them. I found this book to be very helpful and only found one flaw. Steven focuses a lot on working with your 14 direct ancestors. That was very confining for me. I did read a follow up book that helped me to open to additional ancestors.

AuthorI have noticed that every time I start reading a book, I can find some parts of myself in it. This makes me wonder how it is possible to connect so deeply with the author and the topic. However, I have learned to trust the books that come into my life. This blog is about the books I have read and the adventures they take me on. I will be rating each book on two scales: a general rating and a rating on how each book has added value to my life. Current Reading List:Archives
